Let's go over my money talking points. You've heard of the Baby Steps from Dave Ramsey. Well, these are my key points to start with to get you talking about personal finance.
Why is it important to talk about money and personal finances?
We learn and understand money better when we talk about it together. We can learn from each other's mistakes and educate each other on the best ways to handle and work with our money. When did you figure out what a 401k was or what stocks are? Commonly, we don't find out about these things until we are well into our working years. With technology coming into personal finance this is starting to change for the better. But we need to discuss money so that we can learn together from each other.
How do you get started talking about personal finance?
- Don't try to discuss everything all at once
- Start with one key point and work through them
- Set your own pace
